"First time trying this place since we suppose to go Hai Jiao Ren but was super packed so we decided to just settle down the restaurant beside that happen to be this one. It was a pleasant surprise! We ordered the Bak Kut Teh, Tom Yam and some other dishes and it all tasted great. The Bak Kut Teh was very flavourful and everyone loves it and we even asked for extra soup. The Tom Yam was also another total surprise because it was like a flavour bomb and they also was very generous with the ingredients inside. Price was also reasonable and food was served in relatively good time."

"Very nice dark flavourful herbal bak ku teh. Great for those who loves the stronger taste. Good portion for the price. Service is prompt but the waiting time is a bit too long even when there ain't much of a crowd. Its an old kopitiam setting so its gives a nostalgic feeling. Tables have lot of space in between them so its pretty spacious. Place and toilet are clean. Parking is by the roadside."

"This restaurant is clean and spacious. We decided to dine here because the queue at Hai Ka Lang next door was extremely long (about a 1-hour wait at 1 PM on a Sunday). Since it was just next door, we opted to eat here instead. The food is decent. The bak kut teh soup has a stronger herbal taste, while the dry version is less flavourful compared to others we've tried in JB. Overall, the taste isn't bad, but the portions are a bit small."

"Great Bah Kut Teh. Met the Boss and chef.. He speaks and reads Chinese fluently although he's Indian in ethnicity. Not because of lineage. Amazing.."

"Recommended by relative to try. Ordered a number of different dishes to try. Bak kut teh herbal soup was really good. Loved it. Meat was tender and it was served with tau kee and mushroom which you do not need to add any more extra unless you really enjoy eating tau kee. Ordered a mix of pig innards of pig livers, intestine and kidney. This was really nice, the innards were clean and had no smell. Soup that it came with can skip. A bowl of pig trotters as well, not too bad, had a bit of vinegary taste to it. Braised sauce could be more fragrant. Sesame chicken wasn't that tasty. I do not recommend this but you can try to believe. Can skip the otah also. Dry bak kut teh was really fragrant but slightly wet. Overall it is a good place to have herbal bkt. Will be returning."

"20FEB25 @ 10am Have been here numerous times. Herbal type Bah Kut Teh very rich and flavorful. Can top up soup. Pig trotter is nice to have but not necessary. Side dish is good to have. Price is good, is here more for the Bah Kut Teh only."
